1.2 The competition is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older who own a registered or aspiring small business.
1.3 No purchase is necessary to enter.
1.4 The competition is not open to employees, family members, or agencies of Web Design Hosting.
2. The Prize
2.1 First Prize: Consists of a Standard One-Page Website Design, 1 Year of .co.za Domain Registration, and 1 Year of 1GB Hosting.
2.2 Second Prize: Consists of 1 Year of .co.za Domain Registration and 1 Year of 2GB Hosting.
2.3 Third Prize: Consists of 1 Year of .co.za Domain Registration and 1 Year of 1GB Hosting.
2.4 Scope of Design: The "One-Page Design" includes up to 5 content sections (e.g., Hero, About, Services, Gallery, Contact). It does not include e-commerce functionality (online stores), custom backend development, copywriting, or photography. All logos, text and images must be supplied by the winner within 30 days.
2.5 Hosting Renewal: The prize covers hosting and domain fees for 12 months from the date of activation. After month 12, the standard annual hosting and renewal fees will apply. The winner is under no obligation to renew but must provide 30 days' notice of cancellation if they wish to terminate services after the free period.
3. The Selection Process
3.1 Finalists will be selected based on the motivation provided in the entry form.
3.2 The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by Web Design Hosting. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.3 Competition Closing Date: 1st February, 2026 | Winners will be notified via email on 5th February 2026. If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner selected.
4. Intellectual Property & Marketing
4.1 By entering, participants grant Web Design Hosting permission to use their name and business name in promotional material regarding the competition.
4.2 The winner agrees to participate in a "Case Study" (Before/After photos of the website) to be published on Web Design Hosting’s social media.
5. Indemnity
5.1 Web Design Hosting is not responsible for any technical failures that prevent an entry from being submitted.
5.2 The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
