How to Install WordPress
How to Install WordPress on cPanel using Softaculous app installer or WordPress Toolkit, one click easy and quick installation. Please note that you'll need at least 60MB to install the latest version of WordPress.
install WordPress on cPanel using Softaculous
To install WordPress on cPanel using Softaculous, follow these steps:
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Click on the "Softaculous Apps Installer" icon.
- In the search bar, type "WordPress" and press Enter.
- Click on the "Install Now" button next to the "WordPress" app.
- In the "Software Setup", enter the following information:
- Site Settings: Enter a site name and description for the WordPress installation.
- Directory: Enter the directory where you want to install WordPress.
- Admin Username: Enter a username for the WordPress administrator account.
- Admin Password: Enter a password for the WordPress administrator account.
- Admin Email: Enter the email for the WordPress administrator account.
- Click on the "Install" button.
WordPress will be installed in the directory you specified. You can start using WordPress immediately.
You will receive an email that your website has been created and you can now log into your WordPress dashboard at yourdomain.co.za/wp-admin
Install WordPress using the WordPress Toolkit
The WordPress Toolkit in a cPanel makes it easy to install and manage WordPress websites. To install WordPress using the WordPress Toolkit, follow these steps:
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Click on the "Applications" tab.
- Click on the "WordPress Toolkit" icon.
- In the "Package Information" section, enter the following information:
- Package Name: Enter a name for the WordPress installation.
- Directory: Enter the directory where you want to install WordPress.
- Admin Username: Enter a username for the WordPress administrator account.
- Admin Password: Enter a password for the WordPress administrator account.
- Click on the "Install" button.
WordPress will be installed in the directory you specified. You can start using WordPress immediately.

- You can install WordPress on any domain or subdomain that you have access to.
