How to Install Joomla on cPanel using Softaculous app installer, one click easy and quick installation. Please note that you'll need at least 35MB to install the latest version of Joomla.

How to Install Joomla cPanel Softaculous App Installer

To install Joomla using Softaculous App Installer, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Click on the "Softaculous Apps Installer" icon.
  3. In the search bar, type "Joomla" and press Enter.
  4. Click on the "Install" button next to the "Joomla" app.
  5. In the "Package Information" section, enter the following information:
    • Package Name: Enter a name for the Joomla installation.
    • Directory: Enter the directory where you want to install Joomla.
    • Admin Username: Enter a username for the Joomla administrator account.
    • Admin Password: Enter a password for the Joomla administrator account.
  6. Click on the "Install" button.

Joomla will be installed in the directory you specified. You can start using Joomla immediately.

You will receive an email that your website has been created and you can now log into your Joomla backend at yourdomain.co.za/administrator
